Privacy policy

This policy explains how information may be handled when you visit AIBizScout.

Information collected

AIBizScout does not currently offer user accounts or accept payments. Our hosting provider may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps for security and operation.

Checklist and email requests

If you submit the checklist form, your email address is processed by our hosting provider to send one requested message from [email protected]. This does not add you to a newsletter or marketing list. The website does not keep a subscriber database. Hosting and mail systems may retain delivery logs. For abuse prevention, the form keeps keyed hashes of the network address and recipient, plus request counts, in private server storage. Counters expire after one hour and expired records are removed when a subsequent request is processed. Raw email addresses and IP addresses are not stored in these counters. You can download the checklist without providing an email.

AI Finder answers

The AI Finder runs locally in your browser. Your answers are used only to calculate the recommendation shown on your screen and are not submitted to AIBizScout or stored by the website.

Aggregate website measurements

We count page views, path selections, Finder steps and completions, comparison selections, review visits, partner-link clicks, and checklist requests. These reports contain only daily totals with fixed page, tool, step, broad source, and result categories. We do not store cookies, visitor identifiers, Finder answers, email addresses, raw referrer URLs, or search terms in these reports. Our measurement respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Counts describe events, not unique visitors or confirmed purchases.

Website chat

Our website uses a HostGator SuperGator chat assistant. Loading the widget may send standard technical connection data, such as your IP address and browser information, to the service. If you send a message or choose to provide contact information, HostGator processes it to answer your questions and makes the conversation available to AIBizScout in its account. The chat is separate from the local AI Finder. HostGator says conversation history is available for up to seven days after the last message; see its agent privacy guidance. Do not enter passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in chat. You can instead contact us by email.

External and affiliate links

Our pages link to third-party websites. Those providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies. If affiliate tracking is enabled, a partner may use a referral identifier to attribute a visit or qualifying purchase.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Technical information may be processed by service providers as needed to host, secure, and operate the website or comply with legal obligations.

You can restrict cookies through your browser and review the privacy settings of any external service before creating an account or making a purchase.
